We are an inclusive & development focused club, we welcome new and learning players, from 5yrs to first-time Seniors.

Key Season Dates

  • 1 Feb 2026 – Registrations open
  • 7 Mar 2026 – Muster Day for MiniRoos & Juniors
  • 27 Mar 2026 – Senior leagues start
  • 1 May 2026 – Junior competitions start
  • 2 May 2026 – MiniRoos start

Registration opens each year on February 1st and we encourage players to register before March to ensure placement into teams and to help with early appointment of coaches.

We have teams for all age groups:

  • Miniroos & Juniors aged 5-11 (non-competitive) | $130 fee ($165 8+)
  • Youth Competitions aged 12-17 (graded) | $210 fee ($260 17+)
  • Senior Competition 18+ (min. 14yrs) | $390 fee

$50 Active Kids vouchers may also be used when registering (see details on Service NSW)

Teams have coaches organised by our Coaches Coordinator and we are always seeking coaches & volunteers for all ages.

Female players may participate in either Female only or Mixed teams at their own discretion. Our Female Participation Officer ensures that all female players are placed in the most appropriate teams.

Our Registrar and our Junior Coaching Co-ordinator will work to ensure that all registered Miniroos players find places in teams. For Youth and Senior football, selection of players into competitive grades will be at the discretion of coaching staff, on the basis of trials and other criteria.

Our member protection officer (MPIO) will ensure that all players are supervised safely and appropriately. See our contact page for who is doing each role this year.

We also offer Social registrations for players only interested in training and social activities.

Fees for all ages can be seen in this table, a small portion of the fees goes towards the club for operational expenses, including maintenance and repairs or equipment and stock.

REGISTRATION FAQ'S

How will I know when to start training/playing?

The club communicates all information to it’s members when it becomes available by email. Coaches will also communicate by email with their players once appointed, and will often encourage parents or players to use chat groups such as Messenger or Whatsapp.

The club also encourages all members to use Stack Teamapp on their phones (download on Android or iOS) for push notification on all urgent communications, such as amendments to fixtures, field closures, or other administration messaging.

What equipment do I need?

All players are required to purchase their own Club socks and shorts (available at Stewarts Menswear in Mullumbimby town center), football boots & shinpads.

Team Jerseys will be provided by the coach but remain the property of the club.

How do I register

BVFC offers registration to players aged 5 and over. Registration opens each year on February 1st and we encourage players to register early to ensure placement into teams and to help with early appointment of coaches.
