The glory days are back: The Pre Season Origin Trophy returned to Pine Ave for the 2016 season as MBVFC flogged Ocean Shores 11-2 on aggregate over the two senior mens games. Mullum 5ths beat Shores 4ths 7-2 whilst the Mullum 7ths beat Shores 6ths 4-0. A great day was had up at New Brighton and having the first trophy of the season neatly sitting in the canteen before the official season kicks off next weekend is a good news story. 🙂
