We have a MiniRoos Certificate coaching course coming up right here in Mullumbimby, and we’d love our parent volunteers and coaches to take advantage of it.
The course is free, practical, and designed specifically for people working with young players aged around 10 and under. No experience needed.

What is the MiniRoos Certificate?
The Coles MiniRoos Certificate is a Football Australia accreditation aimed at volunteer parents and coaches working with novice players. The session is entirely practical and focuses on creating fun, game-based activities that help kids fall in love with football.
There is also a short online component to complete afterwards through the Football Australia Learning Centre. Your certificate will be available 2–3 weeks after finishing both parts.
The accreditation is valid for four years.
What to expect
The course covers the basics of running enjoyable and safe football sessions for young players. You don’t need to be an expert. The focus is on organising games that are fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate.
It’s a great starting point for any parent who has found themselves on the sideline wondering how they can help.

Comfortable clothes for some light practical activity, an open mind, and ideally a friend to join in.
