MBVFC Go Down 0-1 on Pitch-Turned-Bog at O.S.
16/7/2012
In a hard game in Division 2, MBVFC and Workers finished with a Workers 0-1 win in an even game at Ocean Shores on Saturday afternoon.
The muddy pitch that had endured three matches in the 24 hours before made the technical game difficult and goalscoring chances were few and far between.
In the previous Division 3 game, MBVFC managed a 1-0 win over Pottsville to record the second win of the season and our song sound out loud and proud across Ocean Shores.
One of the main talking points was the field, which endured five matches within 24 hours and was in it worst state in about 10 years, according to observers.
The weather continues to make it difficult to stick to the schedule and another rained out weekend will increase the pressure on the fixture calendar.
