22/11/2011

Jonathan Flantz will become Head Coach for the 2012 season at Mullumbimby Brunswick Valley FC.
Jonathan has been associated with the club for a number of years now, both as a coach and as a player. He has been continually raising his coaching standard and has also improved his skilllset by attaining Football Australia standard coaching qualifications.
Jonathan will coach the top senior men’s team and also be available as coach and mentor for the other club coaches. His goal at MBVFC is to establish a competitive first team, but also very much to improve the coaching standard at the club, thereby benefiting and raising confidence in junior, youth and senior players, coaches and parents.
This is exciting news for the club and indeed every single MBVFC player, coach and parent, as Jonathan’s role will have a direct impact on how we are all doing in the teams at the club. The aim is to have more fun through more support, especially for the junior and youth coaches, while improving everyone’s ability as players or coaches.
Jonathan will hold hands-on pre-season coaching sessions for club coaches and also be available to interested coaches on a regular basis, depending on demand.
In this spirit, MBVFC are looking for interested coaches, assistant coaches and helpers for the 2012 season. Training will start at the end of January 2012. Send e-mail to info@MBVFC.com.au if you want to get involved. Motivation is just as important as skill, so even if you have no experience, there will be a role you can fill to start getting involved with soccer coaching or just to help out at a great club.
