Every year we come together to recognise the players, coaches and volunteers who give so much to MBVFC. Voting for our 2026 Club Perpetual awards is now closed.
Winners will be announced at our Junior & Senior Presentation Night — Saturday 19th September at the Top Pub, Mullumbimby.
Club Perpetual Awards
The following awards are open to all senior players and volunteers at the club, subject to the eligibility listed for each one. Winners will be announced at Presentation Night.
The Barry Carter Trophy
Awarded to the most competitive player aged 35 or over. A player who plays the game in the spirit in which it should be played, has a fierce will to win, and always supports and encourages their teammates.
Eligibility
Open to all senior players aged 35 and over.
The Norm Hale Dedication Award
Awarded to the player who shows great commitment to the team. A player who is always at training and shows up for every game ready to give their best.
Eligibility
Open to all senior players.
Club Person of the Year Award
Awarded to the volunteer who has contributed the most to MBVFC during the season. The person who has put in time and effort behind the scenes to help the club run smoothly.
Eligibility
Open to all club volunteers. A list of committee members and their roles is included in the voting form drop down menu.
Goalkeeper of the Year
Awarded to the goalkeeper who has performed to a high standard throughout the season, both as an individual and as a member of a team.
Eligibility
Open to all senior goalkeepers.
The Paul Lindsay Trophy — Golden Boot Award
Awarded to the senior player who scored the most goals during the season.
Eligibility
Open to all senior male and female players.
Female Player of the Year
Awarded to the player who has played to a very high standard, both as an individual and as a member of a team. A player who has made a major contribution to the team's performance during the season.
Eligibility
Open to all players in the highest ranked Women's team, aged 19 and over.
Female Junior Player of the Year
Awarded to the player who has played to a very high standard, both as an individual and as a member of a team. A player who has made a major contribution to the team's performance during the season.
Eligibility
Open to all Junior players playing in a Senior Women's team, aged 18 and under.
Male Player of the Year
Awarded to the player who has played to a very high standard, both as an individual and as a member of a team. A player who has made a major contribution to the team's performance during the season.
Eligibility
Open to all players in the highest ranked Men's team, aged 19 and over.
Male Junior Player of the Year
Awarded to the player who has played to a very high standard, both as an individual and as a member of a team. A player who has made a major contribution to the team's performance during the season.
Eligibility
Open to all Junior players playing in a Senior Men's team, aged 18 and under.
Team of the Year
Awarded to the senior team voted as having the best overall season at the club — on and off the field.
Eligibility
Open to all senior teams at the club.
