![]() As you know, MBVFC has recently been successful in securing two grants - one of which was for building female changing rooms and that project is now complete... Yeahhhh ( we are the only clubs in the region to have a dedicated female changing room). The refurbishment of the existing block will also be finalised this week and we are extremely grateful to Council for their support with that project. Thanks must also go out to Davey Mac for his fantastic artwork on the new block..its looks great. We would like to invite everybody to the official opening of the new building at 9am on Sunday, 12 May. It is quite fitting that this is Mother's Day and that it is also the first home games of our four female junior and senior teams. The under 12 girls' team will be the first to use the new facilities before their game at 10am that day. Justine Elliot MP has been invited to attend as she was instrumental in our grant application - and Dino Rosa from the IGA Mullumbimby, as he has generously helped us with the project shortfall and is our Major Sponsor. The Byron Echo newspaper has also been invited. Come on down on Sunday morning and be part of a very exciting new stage in our clubs development You may not ever get to be a kool as the guy wearing the new MBVFC hoodie but you can definitely look like him ... simply make your way down to Stewarts Menswear in Mullum and buy one of our new fleece lined winter jackets .
Its great to announce that football has properly kicked off down at MBVFC. The juniors began last weekend and the seniors are well into the season ahead. Our new ground will be opening next week and our new female changing rooms will be opened this Sunday...so finally everything is coming together... Drop down anytime to say hi or come and watch a game down at Pine Ave. Lets have a fantastic and enjoyable 2019
