Ideally, all 12s players should attend to give the coaches an idea of how to organise the teams, training times, express preferences, etc. The fields took a lot of water over the last few days and are now closed for all games and training.
Due to waterlogged fields, the Grade 12 Muster today had to be postponed to a later date.
All players in that grade will hear about it as soon as we know. Plans have been finalised to conduct TWO Level 4 Referee courses in March and we strongly encourage you to identify and advise potential new match officials to assist with the demand on the number of referees required. We have lost a number of experienced people from last year and need new members, particularly seniors.
The cost of the course will be $50 per person. If you know anyone who wants to become a new referee in 2013 please advise that they should contact registrations@ffncreferees.com.au as registration for these courses is essential. Every player in Grade 12 (players who turn 12 in 2013) should attend to give the coaches a good idea of their ability and motivation. Our experienced coaches will observe the players during the training session and assess their technical ability and ability to be part of a team. Players should wear full training gear with boots and shin pads. This will be the only grading session for Grade 12. Players who do not attend will join a team that has places available. Other grades will be notified separately if there is grading planned. For the first time ever, we are competing in the State Cup in 2013.
The first round will be played on the weekend of 15 February 2013. The draw has brought us...but check it out yourselves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKS2LcIF8G0, go to 6:00 mins for the Northern Pool fixtures to save yourself some time. Good luck to us! I updated the fees in the table on the page 2013 Registration, which had the different fee components.
Some of the fees were too low. Now the numbers reflect what is actually being charged when you register. Thanks to Jen for your feedback! |
