Men’s Div 2 Semi Final Win vs Tumbulgum

..and a home Grand Final this Friday 6.30pm!

A good crowd turned out from both sides for the home game at Pine Ave last night, with MBVFC facing Tumbulgum under the lights.

MBVFC scored first in the opening half, but Tumbulgum equalised, creating some nervous moments for the spectators.

In the second half, MBVFC took control, scoring two more goals and finishing with a 3-1 victory. It could have been 5-1, with a missed penalty and several other chances. MBVFC managed the ball better and played at a quicker pace, which ultimately made the difference.

What’s been clear throughout the season is the team’s camaraderie and togetherness. Each week, they’ve shown how important these qualities are, and their ability to take on a half-time talk and put it into action is something special.

This win secures MBVFC a place in the Grand Final, which will be held at home in Mullumbimby next weekend.
