- When will the season start?
For players in Grade 12 or older including Seniors, it will start at the end of March / early April 2020.
However, for Grade 16 and Senior players, the ANZAC Cup and McMillan Cup competitions will start in February 2020.
For players who turn 11 or younger during the calendar year, i.e. Grade 11, Grade 10 etc., the season will start in late April / early May 2020.
- When will training start?
Senior pre-season training will start in January 2020 for our senior teams - see the Events section on our facebook page for details
All other training will start when the individual team is set up, which depends somewhat on registrations, but we aim to have all teams in training by the middle of March.
Your coach will get in touch with you with a training time, or the registrar / club Miniroos Coordinator asks among the carers for a coach for the team. Coaches are volunteers with a keen interest in their children and the sport they play.
- What equipment do I need to play?
Players will need to purchase shorts in club colours, unless they already have 2018 shorts. Older shorts do not match our new kit and therefore, cannot be worn during matches. The shorts are available exclusively from Stewart's Menswear, Burringbar Street, across from Santos.
Players also must wear shin pads for training and games. For Grades 6-7, these were supplied by a sponsor in some previous years, but this is yet to be confirmed for 2020.
Football boots are also essential, as runners do not protect feet very well from other football boots.
- How do I register?
See our registration page.
